High Cliff State Park & Beach, Sherwood
State’s 3rd most popular park. Tall observation tower to view the lake. Includes a beachfront gathering area at the lake.

Lakeside Park, Fond du Lac
400 acre park on southern shoreline. Includes flower gardens, lagoons, fountains, and gazebos. Large playground area, harbor with 40 ft. walk-up lighthouse, full service marina, baby farm animal zoo, picnic shelters, large pavilion, volleyball courts, deer park, fishing pier, and dog park. Concession rides include old fashioned carousel, train ride, bumper boat, aqua bike, and canoe rentals. Home of numerous state and local softball tournaments with 3 regulation, lighted softball diamonds, and the Lakeside Spirit charter yacht. Site of walleye weekend in the 2nd weekend of June. Thousands of animated displays and lights through the holiday season!
Columbia State Park, East side of Lake Winnebago

19.75 acre park located 10 miles northeast of Fond du lac. The park has a 75 ft. observation tower, 40 campsites, six boat launches, boat & RV dump stations, a playground, a pavilion, and two shelters.
Roosevelt Park, Fond du Lac
3 acre park with 900 feet of shoreline along the southern tip of the lake. Lake access for windsurfing, parking, and picnicking.
Highway 45 Wayside
8 acre canoe and car-top boat launch and park 3 miles northwest of Fond du lac on the lake’s west shore. The wayside contains a picnic area, water pump, parking, and toilet facilities.
Calumet County Park
Offers picnic areas, 71 camp sites, concessions/store, bath house, dumping station, laundromat, bike trails, 6 boat launch lanes, cross country ski trails, snow hills, memorials, and historic Indian effigy mounds. Park accesses 124 miles of snowmobile trails throughout the county.
Shaginappi Park, Pipe
100 acre park, formerly a Boy Scout camp, located about 10 miles northeast of Fond du Lac on the eastern shore. 4 miles of walking trails, a restored lodge on the lake, and about a ½ mile of pebble beaches.
Streich’s Beach
A sand bottomed shallow protected area on the western shoreline about 4 miles south of where the Fox River enters the lake in Oshkosh. Hundreds of boats often gather in anchored rows or raft-like groupings since the area often remains quite calm because of the natural protection of the curved shoreline. The land along this shoreline is densely wooded and private so the only access is by boat and no restrooms are available.
